Seaport Southern Sweet Tea
- 8 cups hot water
- Extremely Fine Meshed Tea Balls or Tea Bags
- Seaport Tea
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups ice
- Pour 8 cups hot water into a heat-proof, glass pitcher. Add baking soda and stir. (This makes tea translucent opposed to cloudy!)
- Prepare tea balls or bags by adding Seaport Tea to them and securing tightly. Place in pitcher and steep for 10 minutes.
- Remove lid and pull tea balls or bags out. Discard contents as they should not be reused.. Stir in sugar until dissolved.
