Crawfish Pasta

12 oz. package rotini pasta
1 large onion
1 mid-size bell pepper
6 – 8 shallots
1 stick margarine or butter
1 teaspoon TexJoy Garlic Powder
Add TexJoy Cajun Seasoning (to taste)
1 lb crawfish
½ pint of half & half

Boil pasta in lightly salted water until tender. Drain & set aside. Finely chop onion and chop bell pepper and shallots. On medium heat, sauté vegetables in butter until tender & transparent. Stir in seasonings. Add crawfish & cream. Stir and cook on low heat uncovered until crawfish are tender (about 15 minutes). If desired, add more cream at this point. Remove from heat. Add pasta to this mixture and stir until well mixed. Cover & let stand with no heat for 3 to 5 minutes for flavor to blend. A great blend of Italian and Cajun cuisine!
